Grace Ndiritu on Healing the Museum

Grace Ndiritu is a British-Kenyan artist whose artworks are concerned with the transformation of our contemporary world. She visited the University of Melbourne as a Mordant Family BLAK C.O.R.E. Fellow and conducted a discussion with Wiradjuri, Ngunnawal and Celtic artist, Professor Brook Andrew who is Director, Reimagining Museums & Collections. The vision of BLAK C.O.R.E is to realise systemic change by reimagining how First Nations knowledges, cultural materials and communities are held within institutional spaces of museums, galleries and universities.
